Aurora's Thunderjet, one of the world's most popular slot car, was first introduced to the public in 1963. This race is being held in the T-Jet's honor. The odds-on favorite for the win is Larry Weaver. Weaver is the most experienced driver in the field when it comes to box-stock T-Jets. He has dominated the previous three box stock races at PRR, but that was on rubber tires...Can he repeat his success on silicone? Scott Walker and Jeff "Hoss" Phoenix appear to be the ones most likely to stop him. Walker knows the PRR Buck as well as anyone, while Phoenix is nearly as experienced as Weaver when it comes to stock T-jets. Mark Burdick is better known for his speed with Fray T-Jets, but he cannot be counted out despite his lack of time with stockers.

Race awards will be provided by Pocket Rocket Raceway and include reproduction posters of original Aurora Model Motoring advertisements.
