Race Preview

Pocket Rocket Raceway will host races in multiple scales on the same day for the first time with this event. While the classes vary greatly, they all have one thing in common - no traction magnets are allowed. The slip-sliding, fender-banging action will kick off at 3:30 with the Trans Am class. This event features Trans Am cars as produced by Scalextric. (Depending on performance, some other cars are allowed.) Attention will then turn to HO scale, with the PRR T-Jet class. This class features stock T-Jets with lightened and lowered injection-molded bodies. Slip-on silicones are allowed. The event will then return to the undulating Carrera 4-lane for the WRC race. WRC is for 1/32 scale 4-wheel drive rally cars with the rules based around SCX cars. Like Trans Am, some other brands are allowed WRC. Following that racing will return once again to the routed Bucktrack for the Fray-based Super Stock T-Jet class. Racing will then be completed in the dark running lighted 1/24 scale Carrera Le Mans cars on the Carrera. Individual winners will come from each class, but the overall winner will take home the winnings. The overall winner will be the one who accumulates the most points from each class.
