The Operation Enduring Freedom 500 will be a box stock T-Jet race held in honor of the Company B 204th Engineer Combat Battalion out of Horseheads, NY. Approximately 140 soldiers from the 204th will be deploying on Monday, March 1st for an 18 month tour in the Middle East. PRR's own Scott Walker will be among those 140 soldiers. All proceeds from the race will go to the Family Readiness & Support Group for Company B 204th Engineer Combat Battalion and their families to help families and soldiers with special needs.

Larry Weaver enters the race as the heavy favorite. Weaver has won more box stock PRR Majors than any other. Regarded as the master of stock T-Jets he will be the man everyone else will be aiming for. Weaver's toughest challenge could come from any number of drivers. PRR regular Mark Burdick has shown great speed with his T-Jet. Justin Eulrich is the dominant driver in this class in the Buffalo area. Jeff "Hoss" Phoenix is always a contender and is coming off of a 2nd place finish at the East Coast Championships T-Jet race. Mark Webster and John Durbin both spar with Weaver on a regular basis and know this class of car well. Dave Hendrickson has had difficulty finding the pace in his first few outings in the class, but he is coming off of a 3rd place finish in the ECCs T-Jet race and will be certain to improve by race time. The unquestioned sentimental favorite will be Scott Walker. This will be Walker's last race before being deployed for 18 months. He has always been strong in this class, but can he pull off the win?
