I'd like to apologize to all of my fellow racers for the delay I caused at the Series race due to my poor wrenching skills. I'd like to thank R.C., Jim and Benny for all of their help.

Speaking for myself, it was and is OK. It is more important that your able to learn what needs to done and you know how it should be to get the performance.
Very few of us touched the cars since the Nats. Plus it was the first race so we all had cob webs to clear out.
It was a great day of racing.
Funny but I had a conversation on the merit of putting a brass retainer on the arm shaft in front of the pinion. This is done so the pinion will not slide up causing the loss of mesh and contact with the crown.
I looked at my car without the retainer all morning. I had one good wall shot, the pinion came unglued and slid up the shaft, my day was done. pityparty
Take a guess what I'm doing before the next race.
