6th Annual Snowball 500 Preview

The 2005 Snowball 500, the first Snowball 500 to be held under SCCOTTT sanction, looks to have the potential to be the best ever. Frank Spena Jr., who has won all five of the previous Snowballs, has yet to confirm his entry, but if he does decide to defend his title the two-time UFHORA Nationals T-Jet champ will be the favorite. His biggest challenge will most likely come from 2004?s runner up Dave Hendrickson. His son Ryan Hendrickson recently won the Super Stock T-Jet championship at SCCOTTT and had some very strong runs all through the day on his way to winning the Turkey 250. Mark Webster always brings big power to the table and cannot be counted out. Other potential winners include Larry Weaver, Kevin Hendrickson and Gary Weber. The latter two have been showing improvement every week and both made the final of last month's Turkey 250.

Legendary slot car racer and innovator Tom Bowman plans on making the trek once more from Virginia Beach. Best-known as the head of BRP, whose bodies have won more events at SCCOTTT and it?s forerunner PRR than any other, Bowman is also widely recognized as the inventor of the magnetic slot car and is a fine racer as well. He placed 6th in 2004. Perhaps the most exciting potential entrant for this years event is Henry Harnish. Harnish won the first Ford-Aurora Grand National Championship in 1962. He began racing competitively again just a few years ago and has shown good speed wherever he has competed. If the weather cooperates he could be making the trip from his home in New Jersey. Another potential long-distance entrant is another legend of HO racing ? Bob Lincoln. Lincoln?s entry is a long shot, but if the reigning UFHORA Restricted Open National Champion makes it to race day along with the 1962 National Champ it will be a truly star-studded field. The dark-horse appears to be Cliff Potter. Potter made the final in his first shot at a Major, the Turkey 250. He will need to find more speed to make the final this time out, but he is working on making that happen?

Wizzard HO BBS Rules:
Prelude to the Rules:

I guess when you set down a set of rules, you really need to define the reason for thier existence. This BB is more than a mere property to me. It is a place to communicate with friends as well as customers, and teach. For me, its kind of like home. I would then ask you guys to treat it like you would my home, and like you would want me to treat your home. If we have a problem with a guest, I'll deal with it. If I don't want you in my home, rest assured, I don't want you here either. If you wander over to the neighbors and start bad mouthing me, or anything associated with me, don't expect a warm welcome if you come knocking on the door. If you get booted, we will do everything we can to make it so that you can't even view the BB. I'd rather not spend my time and knowledge teaching somebody who does not appreciate it. From what I can gather, there are 9 former or current national champions presently registered to the BB. Given the vastness of knowledge available, this BB is unparalleled anywhere. I do hope you all enjoy and respect this BB.
