NYCONN HO Racing Association will host its second race of the 2004 season at TK Motorsports Park, in Middletown, NY, on Friday, October 10. Competition this week will once again feature Super Stock cars. Reigning 2003 UFHORA National Champion Mike Gow heads into event number two with the NYCONN points lead after his victory at Dusty Lane. Gow is followed closely by track owner Tom Kanan, Jr., who narrowly missed stealing the championship from Gow in the closing races of 2003. The battle for supremacy between the Wizzard, BSRT and Slottech cars is hot and heavy, with all three manufacturers represented in the top four points positions. Come join in on the excitement on this challenging 4-lane Tomy road circuit!

NYCONN is a fun and friendly club for H.O. racers of all ages. Novices and professionals alike gather to compete for ribbons, trophies, and prestige. Established in 1995, NYCONN follows a rulebook similar to the United Federation of H.O. Racers (UFHORA), and has a 14 race season on tracks in New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Slot cars by Wizzard, BSRT, Slottech, Tyco, Tomy, and Lifelike are eligible to compete in any of the three classes, Super Stock, Modified, and Restricted Open. A car that is UFHORA-legal will pass NYCONN tech.

New drivers can join the NYCONN series at the race. The race entry fee is $8 for members, and $10 for non-members. The NYCONN tech experts are always on hand to help you with any questions, and will even loan you a car and controller if you don?t have one.
