Here are some pictures from underneath to show table construction. I ripped 1 x 4's to 3/4" x 3/4" then glued and screwed to the side rails with 1 1/4" wood screws. Important to drill pilot holes to prevent splitting. The top is oak plywood and was glued and screwed from underneath to hide all the screws. The side rails are 1" x 10" oak and were also attached from underneath. The drivers stand is 1" x 12" oak. The whole table (except underneath) was then stained a light color and 3 coats of polyurethane. (what a pain in the you now what) The table sections around the pole were not glued so I can slide it away if I ever have to move it. 18 volt battery power with three optima 6 volt batteries rated at 800 cold cranking amps. Twelve gauge THHN stranded wire and 8 power taps for high current handling. Still working on a lap counter/timer but a fast super stock is in the 4.5 second range.

kwop,
Where did you get the wire from?
I'm looking good wire that is flexable and not heavily plastic coated.

E-Force,
The wire I used is not the type you are looking for. I bought it at Home Depot in 500' rolls. Check Belden wire or West Penn Wire for the really flexible stuff.

COstruction looks great. Hat's off to you for your detail. I noticed the cantilever style leg construction. That is exactly the way I did mine. I really like the feet.Where did you get those?

Prelude to the Rules:

I guess when you set down a set of rules, you really need to define the reason for thier existence. This BB is more than a mere property to me. It is a place to communicate with friends as well as customers, and teach. For me, its kind of like home. I would then ask you guys to treat it like you would my home, and like you would want me to treat your home. If we have a problem with a guest, I'll deal with it. If I don't want you in my home, rest assured, I don't want you here either. If you wander over to the neighbors and start bad mouthing me, or anything associated with me, don't expect a warm welcome if you come knocking on the door. If you get booted, we will do everything we can to make it so that you can't even view the BB. I'd rather not spend my time and knowledge teaching somebody who does not appreciate it. From what I can gather, there are 9 former or current national champions presently registered to the BB. Given the vastness of knowledge available, this BB is unparalleled anywhere. I do hope you all enjoy and respect this BB.
